Even from a young age, I loved the outdoors.  As a child I would play in the woods by myself, absorbing all the bounty that nature had to offer me.  I suppose that is the leading factor that led me into my hiking occupation.  The thrill of the wind, the serenity of the tranquility, and the trial of experience; that is what compelled me to pursue this interest.

Now, after years of experience, I chose to pass along some information onto others so that they may be better prepared before venturing out into the wilds of the unknown.  I do not claim to know everything, and find myself learning things the hard way still, but if any of my information prevents a bit of hardship on the trail, then my task is complete.  Take my advice with a grin and a nod, but try to keep it in the back of your mind.  You never know, it might just be useful!
